U.S. Air National Guard Civil Engineers establish a defensive position behind a barrier during Patriot Forge II at Ft. Devens Army Reserve Training Area, Massachusetts, Aug. 11, 2026. The exercise allowed Civil Engineers to train critical defensive skills, vital when supporting the defense of an installation. During the exercise, ANG civil engineers practiced tangible, cross-functional combat skills with a focus on tactical medicine, convoy operations, and infantry tasks to make them more lethal and survivable.
