U.S. Air National Guard Civil Engineers establish a defensive position behind a barrier during a field training scenario at Patriot Forge II at Ft. Devens Army Reserve Training Area, Massachusetts, Aug. 12, 2026. The exercise allowed Civil Engineers to train critical defensive skills, vital when supporting the defense of an installation. During the exercise, Airmen demonstrated proficiency in basic expeditionary skills, ground combat skills, combat vehicle operations, land navigation, and integrated base defense.
