On today’s EUCOM Refresh:
-- Exercise Spring Storm concluded on May 26th. The exercise brought some 14,000 Estonian and Allied troops to villages, fields and beaches of Estonia, fighting mock battles in a realistic scenario of how NATO would respond to external aggression. --
-- Near the end of May, approximately 45 Soldiers from the 50th Chemical Co., 42nd Regional Support Group, and New Jersey Army National Guard concluded two weeks of training alongside soldiers from the Albanian Armed Forces and Kosovo Security Forces, at Zall-Herr, Albania. --
-- Standing NATO Maritime Group Two departed Naval Station Rota, Spain on May 29th in anticipation of the start of Flotilla Exercise 2023. --
