--The French Armed Forces are reinforcing NATO's multinational Battle Group Forward Presence in Romania with a surface-to-air missile defense system in support of the Alliance's initiative to deter and defend the Eastern flank of Europe as a result of Russia's attack on Ukraine. --
--Ronald S. Moultrie, the undersecretary of defense for intelligence and security, met with the US-EUCOM Commander General Tod D. Wolters during a recent visit to US-EUCOM headquarters. During the visit, Moultrie received mission updates about Ukraine and other command priorities. --
--The U.S. Navy and Marine Corps announced the release of their climate strategy, Climate Action 2030, setting the Department of the Navy on a path to achieve the Nation’s commitment to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, while becoming a more capable, agile, and lethal fighting force. --
