SAN DIEGO (Sept. 20, 2023) Rikki Betancourt, Coronado High School assistant principal, tells Megan Healy, a weekday Weather Anchor and Reporter at Fox 5 San Diego (KWSB), about her Key Influencer Flight with U.S. Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron Blue Angel #7, an F/A-18 ‘Super Hornet,’ at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, Sept. 20, 2023. Healy will be participating in the Media Rider Program. The Media Rider Program reports on their experience in the aircraft as well as tells the story of the Key Influencer rider. The purpose of a Key Influencer Program is to highlight people in our community who help shape attitudes and opinions of youth. Betancourt was selected for the Key Influencer flight ahead of the Miramar Airshow in recognition of her active role in the Coronado community.
