SAN DIEGO (Sept. 20, 2023) U.S. Navy Aviation Electrician's Mate 2nd Class Dale Pascua, a native of Bismarck, North Dakota, assigned to The Blue Angels, U.S. Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron, gives a final flight check to Rikki Betancourt, Coronado High School assistant principal, sitting in the backseat of Blue Angel #7, a F/A-18 Super Hornet, at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, Sept. 20, 2023. The purpose of a Key Influencer Program is to highlight people in our community who help shape attitudes and opinions of youth. Betancourt was selected for the Key Influencer flight ahead of the Miramar Airshow in recognition of her active role in the Coronado community.
