Tech. Sgt. Robert Pierce, a pavements and construction specialist, 155th Civil Engineer Squadron, prepares a patch for a tire punctured by a screw, Feb. 5, 2026, at the Nebraska National Guard air base in Lincoln, Nebraska. Pierce, along with the rest of the 155th Air Refueling wing, participated in a Combat Readiness Inspection designed to evaluate the wing’s ability to rapidly generate resources to support the mission. Evaluators from Air Force Mobility Command traveled here to help assess the wing’s strengths and to identify opportunities for Airmen to improve in the future.
