Tech. Sgt. Terron Mclean and Tech. Sgt. Robert Pierce, pavements and construction specialists, 155th Civil Engineer Squadron, patch a tire punctured by a screw, Feb. 5, 2026, at the Nebraska National Guard air base in Lincoln, Nebraska. Assigned to the rapid airfield damage repair team, these Airmen responded to a disabled vehicle that would otherwise delay flight line operations and prevent aircraft launch timelines. The task provided McLean and Pierce opportunities to practice skills required to operate in austere environments during a Combat Readiness Inspection at the base.
