Members of the Civil Air Patrol pack up a drone used to simulate an air space breach, Feb. 6, 2026, at the Nebraska National Guard air base in Lincoln, Nebraska. Drone activity played a major role throughout the Combat Readiness Inspection that tested the 155th Air Refueling Wing’s ability to assess its readiness. Partnerships with the Civil Air Patrol and the Air National Guard strengthen mission effectiveness by integrating community-based capabilities, shared resources, and operational experience to support defense, response, and readiness objectives.
