Exercise Ultimate Caduceus 2025 (UC25) is a U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) led annual patient movement field training exercise (FTX) that simulates receiving injured troops from overseas locations at designated Aeromedical Evacuation (AE) hubs and Patient Reception Areas (PRA) where Federal Coordinating Centers (FCCs) and local partners receive, triage, stage, track, and transport patients to pre-designated local definitive care facilities. A number of participants will conduct Patient Movement Coordination Cell (PMCC) operations at locations in the Indo-Pacific and within the United States.
On June 9–10, Air Force Gen. Randall Reed, commander of U.S. Transportation Command, visited the Republic of Korea as part of a multi-nation Indo-Pacific trip focused on advancing logistics coordination and regional mobility planning.
On June 6, Air Force Gen. Randall Reed, commander of U.S. Transportation Command, met in Tokyo with Gen Nakatani, Japanese defense minister; Gen. Yoshihide Yoshida, chief of staff of Japan’s Joint Staff; Gen. Kenichiro Nagumo, commander of the Japan Joint Operations Command; and other Japanese defense officials.
On June 5, Air Force Gen. Randall Reed, commander of U.S. Transportation Command, made his inaugural visit to the Philippines as part of a multi-week trip to the Indo-Pacific region.
