    JACKSONVILLE, Fla (NNS)— On Wednesday, June 10th Cmdr. Rodney “Hot Rod” Erler, the Commanding Officer of Patrol Squadron 8 “Fighting Tigers” participated in a ceremonial farewell flight. His P-8A Poseidon aircraft took off out of Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Fla and conducted a pilot training sortie in addition to an in-flight reenlistment for Naval Aircrewman (Operator) 2nd Class Jason Henderson.

    Fighting Tigers Participate in Guam Exercise

    ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam - A P-8A Poseidon aircraft from the “Fighting Tigers” of Patrol Squadron (VP) 8 recently participated in Ship Anti-Submarine Warfare Readiness and Evaluation Measurement (SHAREM) 199, a coordinated Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) exercise off the southern coast of Guam, July 5-10.
