Military personnel and wargaming practitioners—including U.S. Space Force wargamer Cornell Fuka—participate in simulated operational scenarios at Hurricon in Kissimmee, Fla., Aug. 20–23. The annual tabletop convention provides a platform for players to test tactical decision-making, improve communication and refine strategic coordination. The U.S. military is currently expanding its use of tabletop wargaming exercises and scenarios, increasingly integrating them into missions, operations and strategic initiatives to evaluate battle management frameworks, test emerging capabilities and inform future force design.
