A U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City C-130 Hercules airplane crew assisted in the rescue of a 35-year-old male diver 75 miles offshore Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on June 1, 2024. Coast Guard and salvage crews extracted the remaining four Golden Ray crew members Sept. 9, 2019, in St. Simons Sound near Brunswick, Georgia. The crew members were transported by a Coast Guard Station Brunswick 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boat crew to Glenn County EMS for further medical evaluation.
