The 307th Bomb Wing is located at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana and is part of the Air Force Reserve Command. At Barksdale AFB, the 93rd Bomb Squadron and 343rd BS fly the B-52 Stratofortress. The 307th BW's geographically separated unit, the 489th Bomb Group, flies the B-1 Lancer out of Dyess AFB, Texas.
The 307th Bomb Wing hosts the B-52 Formal Training Unit and is home to the only nuclear-certified bomber unit in AFRC.
