The Washington Army National Guard conducted a retirement ceremony for Maj. Sameer Puri on Sept. 20, 2024 at Camp Murray, WA. The ceremony was an opportunity to honor Maj. Sameer Puri’s dedication and service to the state and nation for the past 25 years. The National Anthem was sung by Sgt. Tricia Scheer from the 133d Washington Army National Guard Band and Col. Donald Brewer provided the invocation. The presiding official for the ceremony was Brig. Gen. Paul Sellers, commanding general of the Washington Army National Guard. Brig. Gen. Sellers described Maj.
