Fort Bragg, N.C. – Maj. Gen. Brandon R. Tegtmeier assumed command of the 82nd Airborne Division from Maj. Gen. James “Pat” Work during a change of command ceremony August 28, 2025 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Approximately 600 Paratroopers from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, will participate in a joint forcible entry airborne operation as part of Swift Response 25 from 13-16 May in Norway.
Paratroopers assigned to Task Force 82 headquarters will participate in Exercise Allied Spirit, February 26 through March 27, with the 41st Panzergrenadier Brigade at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in Hohenfels, Germany.
