The 127th Wing honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
This year's theme, "Remember! Celebrate! Act! A Day On, Not A Day Off!" celebrates the legacy of Dr. King by encouraging Airmen to participate in an act of service this MLK Day. Whether it's service to the community, an organization, or a family member, the greatest way to honor Dr. King's vision for an equal and just nation is to reach out to fellow citizens and serve.

SELFRIDGE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Mich. – Approximately two dozen members of the 127th Wing began receiving the COVID-19 vaccine here on Jan. 8, 2021 when more than 60 personnel received the shots, administered by Wing health technicians.
About two dozen of the Wings firefighters previously received the vaccine through the local Macomb County Health Department. More doses of the vaccine are expected to be received at Selfridge on an ongoing basis in coming weeks.

The 127th Wing began inoculating Airmen with the COVID-19 vaccine at Selfridge Air National Guard Base on Friday, Jan. 8. More than 60 personnel at the base, primarily Security Forces and medical personnel, were in the first wave to receive the shots, administered by the Wing’s medics.
SELFRIDGE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Mich.—Leadership of the 127th Wing held their first live, virtual townhall meeting here May 27, 2020, to answer questions and address matters affecting Wing Airmen with regards to the coronavirus disease pandemic. The townhall helped bridge a communications gap created when the COVID-19 pandemic forced leadership to adjust training schedules to allow for proper social distancing.
