    U.S. Army Sgt. Jonah Moiser, a unit supply specialist assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 109th Military Police Battalion, scans the path back to the start line during the Dark Knight race held at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 10, 2026. The task required competitors to maintain awareness of their position and identify the most efficient route back while low crawling with a weighted item, testing both physical endurance and problem-solving under stress. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies.
