    U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 109th Military Police Battalion, run with a 44-pound weighted bag on their rucksack during the run portion of station one of the Dark Knight race held at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 10, 2026. The physical challenge extended beyond the low crawl, as competitors completed a weighted run before navigating across the training area in search of their next event. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies.
