    U.S. Army V Corps

    U.S. Army Pfc. Mubashir Aweda, a military police officer assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 109th Military Police Battalion, charges a .50 caliber machine gun during the race portion of the Dark Knight competition held at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 10, 2026. One of the six stations of the race tested Soldiers on their weapons systems knowledge, teamwork and ability to communicate as part of determining the “best "squad" of the 603rd. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies.
