Military personnel in MultiCam/OCP camouflage uniforms are conducting what appears to be a combat casualty care or tactical first aid training exercise outdoors. Two soldiers are assisting a kneeling soldier who has a bandage applied to his face/head area, suggesting a simulated wound treatment scenario. The setting appears to be a military installation or training area with trees and buildings visible in the background.

U.S. Army Sgt. Ross Storm, a military police officer assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 109th Military Police Battalion, has his tourniquets examined by graders at the medical station during the race portion of the Dark Knight competition held at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 10, 2026. The race challenged teams to navigate six stations across the installation, testing their proficiency in weapons, physical fitness, medical, maintenance and communications while working together to solve clues and complete the final objective. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies. V Corps is operationalizing and expanding the Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative with Allies, rapidly integrating emerging technologies into training and tactical plans. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
