Four military personnel in OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) uniforms are engaged in a discussion outdoors near a wooded area. Three appear to be junior soldiers while one, holding a clipboard or tablet, appears to be a senior non-commissioned officer or officer conducting a briefing or after-action review. The setting appears to be a military installation in a European environment based on the architecture visible in the background.

U.S. Army Pfc. Gage Leavitt, left, U.S. Army Pfc. Joanna Gonzalez, center left, U.S. Army Sgt. Ross Storm, center right, all military police officers assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 109th Military Police Battalion, receive a clue from their grader during the race portion of the Dark Knight competition held at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 10, 2026. The race challenged teams to navigate six stations across the installation, using clues to locate their next station, while testing their proficiency in weapons, physical fitness, medical, maintenance and communications while working together to solve clues and complete the final objective. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies. V Corps is operationalizing and expanding the Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative with Allies, rapidly integrating emerging technologies into training and tactical plans. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
