U.S. Army Spc. Jacob Burgoon, a military police officer assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 109th Military Police Battalion, low-crawl portion of station one during the Dark Knight race held at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 10, 2026. Station one of six was a physical lane consisting of 300 combined squats, 100 combined push-ups, a low crawl to retrieve gear and a run carrying a 44-pound weighted bag before competitors could receive their next clue and advance to the next station. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies. V Corps is operationalizing and expanding the Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative with Allies, rapidly integrating emerging technologies into training and tactical plans. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
