U.S. Army Spc. Jacob Burgoon, a military police officer assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 109th Military Police Battalion, opens his team's next clue after completing station one of six during the Dark Knight race held at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 10, 2026. The clues added another layer of difficulty to the course, requiring teams to solve riddles, determine the location of their next station and run across the training area to find it. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies. V Corps is operationalizing and expanding the Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative with Allies, rapidly integrating emerging technologies into training and tactical plans. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
