Maj. Anthony McClain and Sgt. (ret.) Angelique Hill pin second lieutenant rank bars on newly commissioned Illinois Army National Guard (ILARNG) 2nd Lt. Stephon McClain during the ILARNG Officer Candidate School graduation and commissioning ceremony Aug. 16 in Normal. McClain was one of 22 Soldiers to complete the OCS program and one of 18 to commission during the ceremony. McClain, of Springfield, Illinois, branched as an engineer officer and is assigned to the 661st Engineer Company.
