Illinois Army National Guard 2nd Lt. Jevorne Francisrichards renders his first salute as a commissioned officer to Chief Warrant Officer 4 Matthew Strohmeyer during the Illinois Army National Guard Officer Candidate School graduation and commissioning ceremony Aug. 16 in Normal. Francisrichards was one of 22 Soldiers to complete the OCS program and one of 18 to commission during the ceremony. Francisrichards, of Kankakee, Illinois, branched as a Logistics officer and is assigned to 3625 Quartermaster Company.
