Illinois Army National Guard 2nd Lt. Eric Kim renders his first salute as a commissioned officer to Illinois Army National Guard Sgt. 1st Class Paul Golladay during the Illinois Army National Guard Officer Candidate School graduation and commissioning ceremony Aug. 16 in Normal. Kim was one of 22 Soldiers to complete the OCS program and one of 18 to commission during the ceremony. Kim, of Lockport, Illinois, branched as a chemical officer and is assigned to the 444th Chemical Company.
