National Aeronautics and Space Administration paints the night sky with colorful vapor tracers during SEED Mission. U.S. Army Kwajalein Atoll has a large portfolio of areas and missions we support, one recent add-on was from NASA during their Sporadic-E ElectroDynamics, or SEED study. NASA is launching rockets from our remote Pacific Island to study mysterious, high-altitude cloud-like structures that can disrupt critical communication systems. The SEED mission opened its three-week launch window from Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands on Friday, June 13. Great to have you back on Kwajalein NASA.
