During a recent trip to Majuro, Capital of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. Col. Matthew Cannon, Commander USAKA/USAG-KA, was able to meet with Ambassador Laura Stone, U.S. Ambassador to the Marshall Islands, U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Joshua Lasky Commander of Joint Task Force Micronesia and Kino S. Kabua, Chief Secretary, Office of the Chief Secretary, Majuro, Republic of the Marshall Islands. While some meetings were initial meetings, others held a little more weight such as the signing of the MOU for the RMI Ombudsman position by Col. Cannon and Ms. Kabua, this MOU allows for a more robust relations between the RMI Workforce and their employers on USAG-KA. The team was also able to join in the 4th of July festivities at the pier where the USS Cincinnati was moored, the event was held by the U.S. Embassy.
