Our hearts are full! A huge congratulations to the Kwajalein High School National Honor Society for their incredible community project. What started as a fundraiser for solar panels for the schoolhouse on Ennylabegan (Carlos) blossomed into so much more, thanks to the amazing generosity of the Kwajalein community! Not only did they fund the solar system, but they also provided backpacks full of supplies for every student at Carlos Elementary School and delivered food and supplies for families.
It was an honor to see the USAG-KA Command team join the students to deliver the items, welcomed warmly by village elders, the principal, and the students. This is what community is all about: neighbors helping neighbors. Photo by Sherman Hogue - USAG-KA PAO
