Admiral John Aquilino, Commander, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, completes his final tour to Japan 22 April 24. His first stop on his visit was to pay his respects to the remains of the unknown Japanese soldiers that have been recovered from World War II at the Chidorigafuchi National Cemetery. Then Admiral Aquilino was awarded The Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun, from Japan's Defense Minister Kihara. After that he met with General Yoshida and Prime Minister Kishida celebrating his tenure but also continuing to support the U.S. Japan Alliance and partnership.
