    U.S. Army Pfc. Joanna Gonzalez, a military police officer assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 109th Military Police Battalion, fires a M17 pistol at a paper target during the range operations portion of the 603rd Dark Knight competition at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 8, 2026. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO allies.
