U.S. Marines with the Black Sea Rotational Force presents the Bulgarian forces of Exercise Platinum Lion 17.1 a gift to show appreciation for their hosting of the exercise, during the closing ceremony. Platinum Lion allows Marines in Europe to train alongside eight other partner nations in the Black Sea, Balkan, and Caucasus regions to enhance collective professional military capabilities and promote regional stability.
