U.S. Air Force Airmen and aircraft are slated to join Royal Air Force forces for Exercise COMBAT ARCHER UK 2026 (CA-UK ‘26), scheduled July 13-24, 2026. Participating units and assets as a part of COMBAT ARCHER will be F-35A Lightning IIs and F-15E Strike Eagles from the 48th Fighter Wing, alongside 100th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 Stratotankers, and 83rd Fighter Weapons Squadron.
The Royal Spark innovation team at RAF Mildenhall developed the USAF High Aerobic Multi-Shuttle Run Pacer Unit V1, an affordable device that helps Airmen maintain the correct pace during the Air Force fitness test. Unlike the standard test, which relies only on audio cues, the new system combines synchronized lights and official audio to provide clear visual pacing, helping users conserve energy and improve performance.
While many logistics units focus on supporting a single installation, the 426th ABS Logistics Flight supports military organizations operating throughout Norway. The team works with U.S. and Norwegian partners to coordinate transportation, customs clearance and cargo movements for a wide range of missions, including Navy underwater research projects, Marine Corps equipment programs and joint military exercises.
