    Ms. Kannan’s poster features a study investigating ways to improve a service member’s ability to return to action (RTA) after suffering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI). The study used robust genetic methods to identify factors such as sex-based differences and immune function changes that will allow caregivers to customize treatment of TBIs that improve recovery from TBIs and reducing time for service members to RTA.
