    Dr. Samdavid Thanapaul’s poster features a study investigating the usefulness of Endogenous Preimplementation Factor (PIF), the first FDA-approved treatment for blast-induced traumatic brain injury (TBI). The study found that PIF can successfully protect against and prevent some of the symptoms of TBI such as short-term memory problems, sleep disruption, and anxiety.
