Ms. Hoke’s poster features research investigating the impact of spaceflight-induced stress on bone cells in an animal model. This research was part of a broader project sponsored by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) that studied the effects of spaceflight in different medical contexts. The results highlighted how these stressors impacted different types of bone cells and evaluated the usefulness of two different bone healing therapeutics.
