ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 25, 2016) Seaman Carmelo Collins, from New York, takes apart a mechanical assembly to an LAU-127 system in the ordnance shop of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Collins serves aboard Ike as an aviation ordnanceman and helps inspect, repair and maintain aircraft ordnance. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
