ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 5, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Ferdinand Sabas prepares onion rings in the galley aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS San Jacinto (CG 56). Sabas serves as a culinary specialist on San Jacinto and is responsible for daily meal preparation aboard the ship. San Jacinto, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
