USS San Diego (LPD 22) and Fireboat 3 move through the San Francisco Bay for the San Francisco Fleet Week 2016 Parade of Ships, Oct 7. 2016. The parade was a demonstration of U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and Royal Canadian Navy ships as they passed underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. San Francisco Fleet Week is an event where thousands of Marines and Sailors come to showcase the capabilities of the Navy-Marine Corps team to local residents, and an opportunity for service members to meet and thank the community for its support.
