CLAY NATIONAL GUARD CENTER, Ga. -- Soldiers, families, and guests assembled in Hangar 1 at the Clay National Guard Center on Oct. 19, 2025, to attend the Change of Responsibility Ceremony for the 78th Aviation Troop Command. During the event, Command Sgt. Maj. Clint E. Cowser formally passed his responsibilities as the senior enlisted leader to Command Sgt. Maj. Meara E. Brown. Colonel Christopher M. Buck, commander of the 78th Aviation Troop Command, presided over the ceremony. The ceremony followed traditional military protocols, symbolizing the transfer of responsibilities and trust between outgoing and incoming command sergeants major.
