U.S. Soldiers and Airmen with the West Virginia National Guard, in coordination with the Secret Service, conduct presence patrols at the Ellipse, a park south of the White House in Washington, D.C., on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025. About 2,300 National Guard members are supporting the D. C. Safe and Beautiful mission providing critical support to the D. C.
