A U.S. Air Force pararescuemen assigned to the 38th Rescue Squadron, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, provides simulated medical care to casualties aboard an Icelandic Coast Guard Airbus H225 Super Puma during an artificial mass casualty scenario as part of exercise Northern Viking 26 in Iceland, Aug. 30, 2026. Training aboard Icelandic rescue aircraft allows U.S. and Icelandic personnel to practice integrating medical procedures, equipment and aeromedical evacuation capabilities.
