FUJINOMIYA, Japan (Aug. 4, 2026) – Hikers gather near the summit of Mount Fuji ahead of sunrise during the final leg of a Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Outdoor Recreation overnight climb, Aug. 4, 2026. Climbers departed the 8th Station hut at 1:30 a.m. to navigate the final summit trail in the dark.
