SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii – Contractors assigned to Army Field Support Battalion-Hawaii evaluate Toughbook laptops and accompanying documentation during equipment turn-in at the Modernization, Displacement, and Repair Site (MDRS), Jan. 16, 2025. Operated by the 402nd Army Field Support Brigade, the MDRS supports Rapid Removal of Excess (R2E) efforts and the 25th Infantry Division’s “Lightning Purge” initiative—unburdening units and streamlining modernization throughout the Indo-Pacific.
