SAN ANTONIO – (June 7, 2019) Cmdr. Nicholas Gamiz of Albuquerque, N.M., is presented his command pin by his wife after assuming command of Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio during a Change of Command Ceremony held at The Alamo. Gamiz, a Naval aviator, will be responsible for 217 Sailors and support personnel supporting 34 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Texas territory.
