    SAN ANTONIO - (June 7, 2019) The Smithson Valley High School Color Guard performed opening ceremonies for the Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio change of command ceremony held at The Alamo. Following the ceremony, Cmdr. Jeffrey Reynolds of Raleigh, N.C., former commanding officer of Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio, a Naval aviator, retired from America’s Navy with nearly 21 years of faithful and honorable service. Reynolds’ area of responsibility included 34 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Texas territory. (Photo by Mr. Andrew C.
