Continuing Promise is a civil-military humanitarian civic assistance and disaster response training operation, led by the hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), between the United States and Central and South American partner nations.
The Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) arrived in Mayport Sept. 25, 2015, making a brief stop for a portion of the Continuing Promise 2015 (CP-15) team to depart Comfort before she continues to her homeport of Norfolk, Va. after a six-month humanitarian and civil assistance mission to Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
