Sgt. Malcolm K. McKay from Eagle, Idaho, will compete in the 2012 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, Colo., April 30-May 5. McKay, 26, will compete in track and field, sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball. McKay was wounded in 2008, in Iraq, when his vehicle hit an improvised explosive device. He says participation in the Warrior Games has helped him get back involved in events and focus on his recovery. More than 200 wounded, ill or injured service members from the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Special Operations Command are scheduled to compete in the Paralympic-style competition.
