Marine veteran Charles "Chuck" Sketch from Wildomar, Calif., will compete in the 2012 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, Colo., April 30-May 5. Sketch, 44, will compete in the swimming competition. Sketch is a cancer survivor and is also a bilateral above knee amputee. He is also blind. Sketch is a three-time team member. He is known for his indomitable spirit. He says since participating in the Warrior Games, he has improved physically and mentally and it has put him in a direction to contribute to the Marine Corps and the physically disabled. More than 200 wounded, ill or injured service members from the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Special Operations Command are scheduled to compete in the Paralympic-style competition.
